The Fantic Issimo Fun is quite possibly the coolest commute machine you’ll ever ride. It’s like a classic Vespa scooter hooked up with the Terminator — and you get to cruise that baby around town. 

This bike is best for casual rides on flatter roads and trails. The 4-inch-wide, smooth tires give you an incredibly smooth yet quick ride. The step-through frame design makes it easy for most riders to mount and dismount.

Ideal for short commutes and errands: Do you enjoy easy spins to work (less than 10 miles) and quick rides to the coffee shop? This bike provides sweet comfort and urban style. Bonus for people who don’t enjoy adjusting derailleurs: The 5-speed Shimano internally geared hub is hassle free. Just hop and on ride! 

Class 1 ebike: This bike only delivers motor power while you’re pedaling. When you reach a speed of 20 miles per hour, the motor turns off. You can keep pedaling, but it’s a lot more work. Class 1 is the most commonly allowed type of ebike; you can ride on almost any road or bike path, and on many mountain bike trails. Be sure to check your local rules. 

Bafang M500 motor: 250 watts continuous power with 80Nm of torque. This budget-friendly motor has a great combination of power, smoothness and quiet. 

630 watt-hour battery: This is the “sweet spot” for battery capacity. You get enough range for big adventures, yet the weight is quite reasonable. To estimate how long you can ride this bike, divide the battery capacity by the amount of motor power you’re using. For example, a 630wh battery with the motor running at 250w would theoretically run for 2.5 hours. The same battery at 125w would theoretically run for 5 hours. It’s smart to subtract about 25 percent to account for the occasional wrong turn.

Customization: If you ride this bike often in wet weather, you’ll want fenders that offer more coverage. To make this bike even more versatile and leave your car at home more often, we suggest you add some panniers (bags that attach to the luggage rack) and a sweet handlebar basket.
