The Railer Plus’ powerful hub-mounted motor accelerates you up to speed insanely quickly, while its big battery keeps you going for a long time. Class 2 ebike: This bike has a throttle like a motorcycle, so it can deliver motor power whether you’re pedaling or not. When you reach a speed of 20 miles per hour, the motor turns off. You can keep pedaling, but why bother? Class 2 bikes are perfect for older or injured riders who ride on pavement and have a hard time starting their bikes from stoplights and stop signs. Class 2 ebikes are generally not allowed on mountain bike trails. Be sure to check your local rules.
750 peak-watt motor: This motor, which is integrated into the rear hub, is designed to be efficient over long distances and high speeds. Perfect for urban riding.
840 watt-hour battery: This huge battery teams with a powerful motor to give you fast acceleration and very long range. Great for long commutes and big adventures. To estimate how long you can ride this bike, divide the battery capacity by the amount of motor power you’re using. For example, a 720wh battery with the motor running at 250w would theoretically run for 3.4 hours. The same battery at 125w would theoretically run for 6.7 hours. It’s smart to subtract about 25 percent to account for the occasional wrong turn.
